Although initially concerned about online tutoring, it was clear from the outset that Max was a great fit for my daughter. Max is an incredible tutor who never ceases to impress with his ability to break down complicated concepts in to more simple, understandable explanations. He helped my son raise his predicted grade in economics from an E to an A. Max is a great teacher and I can't recommend him enough! I have been having economics lessons with Max for the last academic year, resulting in high grades at A level, being predicted an A in economics. Lessons with Max have helped me to write well structure and strong economics essays, as well as improved my ability to think like an economist. As I am dyslexic, Max adapted his style of teaching to a way that was very effective for me, making sure that concepts where explained clearly and thoroughly. Max has also helped me with additional assignments, including my personal statement and my EPQ, which I received an A on. Max is a very flexible tutor, happy to help me with any questions or issues I wanted to address, often going over the hour lesson in order to fully answer my questions. Max's passion for teaching and business is infectious and drives me to be an enthusiastic economist.

An excellent tutor after just two weeks I can see my daughters confidence starting to grow. Keira is dyslexic and needs the support of someone who understands exactly how she feels and learns. Her maths teacher agrees she can see an improvement in class already. I will be recommending Max tutor to family and friends.

Max has an in-depth knowledge of his subject and teaches this is a really effective way. He is great at simplifying difficult to understand topics. He is really good at relating to student interests, working flexibly around their particular needs. My son has found him friendly, funny and engaging and his excellent personal style has helped to really improve my son's understanding of economics. I would thoroughly recommend Max as a tutor.

Max has great patience and a wonderful way of communicating with his students. Our daughter had switched off from school due to covid and all the changes to her math teachers,4 in 1 year, but Max got her engaged again. Max was always on time and was very flexible, adapting to our daughters needs. The lessons being recorded meant as parents we could see how the sessions were progressing. It is a great way to have tuition whilst still being at home. I would definitely recommend Max.

Max is a fantastic tutor! Despite working really hard, my son had never managed to get more than a 3 in Maths GCSE, then after literally a few weeks with Max's help he got a 4! This greatly boosted his confidence, and he passed his GCSE! Max is kind, patient, and really helped him with understanding topics that he had always struggled with. Max was a godsend for my son. He has an SpLD and Max immediately tuned into how he understood things (not the way I do!) and enabled him to get to grips with Maths. He always moaned about the lessons beforehand but afterwards was visibly more confident and actually enjoyed them! He got a 5 in the end but would not have passed at all without Max's help. Max is an asset - My daughter has had just over 6 Maths lessons with Max for KS2. I have already had feedback from her teacher to say she is engaging more in her lessons and now has the confidence to put her hand up and answer questions. My daughter looks forward to Max's lessons and loves the way he encourages her to push herself through support and positive feedback. Max has such a natural abitlity to be able to engage and motivate my daughter in a subject she has always tried to avoid. Max is very agile in his approach to teaching, he uses lots of visual methods to embed learning and his level of patience is one that im in awe of! At the end of every lesson Max reviews the work they both go through and always sets a little bit of homework before the next lesson, he then always links the homework set with the lesson he's teaching next, which is great because my daughter knows he will be checking!. Max always sends a report through straight after a lesson which is detailed. I would recommend Max he's a quality Tutor!!
